Employment

In response to the South Australian Government's Health Reform agenda, Child and Youth Health (CYH) and the Women's and Children's Hospital (WCH) have joined to form the Children Youth and Women's Health Service (CYWHS).

The CYWHS employs staff in a variety of roles including medical, nursing and midwifery, allied health, administration and research.

Some of the vacancies are only available to current SA government employees, as outlined in Regulation 11 of the Public Sector Management Act.

Members of the public, and State government employees, can apply for positions advertised in the public press.

Note: for positions within CYWHS

All applications are assessed on experience, skills and knowledge relevant to the duties of the advertised position. The Job and Person Specification details the essential and desirable requirements that an applicant must address to demonstrate their suitability for the position. These requirements form the basis of the selection criteria. Applications must provide a response to the essential criteria and as many of the desirable requirements that they meet.

All appointments to CYWHS are subject to a satisfactory Offender History Check.
